Random ravings of a tired being

Last week I prepared for our bombardment if 40degree heat and worked away, esky had cool drinks in and a wet towel. I thought I had managed well. Every day I pushed myself. There is no shade at my clients places so my car sat in the sun, no aircon and I had three trips into the city working during that time. Inside the car was stinking hot and I had to have the windows up as the air outside burned the face.

No bloody wonder the body crashed and fell apart. Apparently my heart meds are being affected by the heat and stuffing up my hydralites.

Right now,the way I am feeling, I could easily give up work although financially we would struggle. I need my energy back so I can do my thing and be there for my clients.

Wish I had a dam pass to get me out of working during heatwaves. Can't handle them again like that.

Listen to me,whinge, crizzle bitch. Not a happy camper, annoyed at my body crashing and my head pretty much the same.

Take a deep breath boyo and toughen the hell up.

That all sounds so miserable! Blech. I hate heat even worse than cold. Hope you feel better.

Take it easy my overbaked bud. I am sorry to hear of your struggles… I’d love to ship you a few pounds of ice, but am afraid it won’t last. I can send you a pic, but somehow I do not think it the same.
If I may offer… take you some alcohol… no, not the drinking kind…. and throw it in a freezer bag, pop it in the freezer and let it get frosty cold. Instant ice pack that will last a little while.
Otherwise, take a bath in it…. that’ll cool you off damn quickly.
    Best thoughts for you

Run cold water over you wrist when you get hot like that and use a wet towel around your neck
